Getting custom printed boxes for your company is probably one of the best business decisions you could make. Whether you have pizza boxes printed with your company’s information and logo or special shipping boxes, you are giving your customers an extra special touch.
Also, each box serves as an advertisement for your business. While many types of custom printed boxes wind up in the recycling bin or the trash can, people other than your original customer will likely still see your company information at some point.
Before ordering boxes, have a graphic designer or assistant review your company logo. Keep in mind that printers can shrink, enlarge or change the color of your business logo, but it is cheaper and easier if you have someone do it on your behalf before sending it to a printer. If you do not have a logo yet, you can usually get one cheaply made through different job outsourcing sites online. If you want something simpler, your business name and contact information will suffice but is not as memorable as a bold logo.
Boxes come in a variety of different sizes, colors, weights and quantities. If you ship lightweight items such as clothing, you probably need to order standard strength. For heavier items, choose strong or extra strong. Cardboard will probably suffice for most uses, though a corrugated type which has extra cardboard reinforcement is usually available. The most common box colors are white and brown, though you can have different colors especially for custom gift packages. Tissue paper and gift wrap are available for custom printing.
You can also have instructions such as “fragile” or “this side up” or printed directly on the box. You can choose 1 panel, 2 panel, 3 panel or 4 panel printing depending upon how much information you need displayed.
