Why I Went to Golf School

When I tell my friends I enrolled myself in golf school, they’re always very curious as to why I bothered and I guess I can understand their sentiments. After all, golf school fees are pretty expensive and I’m a little too old to be in any sort of “school” anyway. However, I thought long and hard before I took this step to improve my golf game and I must say that it has paid dividends.

Like many others, I picked up golf because of the influence of my close friends. I learnt the sport with their guidance and with some practice, soon grew to become as skilled as them. I am an extremely competitive person, however, and merely besting my friends was not enough. I wanted to win some tournaments. To my dismay, my initial forays into golf tournaments were dismal failures and I had to go back to the drawing board. That’s when I realized golf school might be exactly what I needed to improve my game.

There was only so much I could learn from my golfing buddies. After all, they had received no professional training themselves. A professional golf coach, on the other hand, could teach me unique skills and tricks that no amateur golfer would know. In fact, I wish I had started out with professional coaching much, much earlier. Imitating my friends’ golfing techniques had left me with many bad habits, including a horrendous swinging posture, that took many hours to leave behind. Thus, I took a leap of faith, visited executivegolfschool.org and found a golf school in my neighborhood. I walked into that school an amateur and I came out a pro.

When you read a positive golf school review written by golf pundits, you might suspect that they are waxing lyrical about that school to earn some sales commission or get some discounts. Well, take it from an honest average Joe just like yourself – if you love golf and want to get better, golf school is the place to be.
